Frosty the Snowman

This past weekend, we spent some time putting up our holiday decorations around the house and setting up the Christmas tree. To get us in the holiday spirit, Carter performed a rousing rendition of his favorite Christmas carol — Frosty the Snowman. This wasn’t the first, nor will it likely be the last, time we have heard him sing this song, but I think the dance number brought it up a whole nother level.

I Like Snow!

It seems way too early in the year, but we got our first measurable amount of snow in the Twin Cities last night. While it wasn’t the blizzard that it seems someone is always predicting, it was still enough to coat the yard and trees. Carter could hardly contain his excitement while getting dressed and eating breakfast, as he kept asking me when he could go outside and play in the snow. Sure enough, as soon as we got out the back door, he ran to the middle of the yard and started eating the snow, and all I could do was watch. Judging from his initial reaction below, Allison and I could be in for a pretty fun winter. At least we know Carter is looking forward to it!
